"Fairest Lord Jesus" is a hymn of praise and adoration for our Lord. He is beautiful, but this is not about physical appearance as we do not really know what he looked like while here on Earth. He is beautiful in essence--In all that he is--and it is my honor to praise him.
All glory, honor, and praise be to the Lord God who rules heaven and Earth; who also caring deeply about "little ole' you and me."
